The Lenora Rolla Heritage Museum

The Lenora Rolla Heritage Museum is a time capsule neatly decorated with the artifacts that share the stories of the diaspora and the rich history Black Fort Worth. The modest museum is located inside the two story home

Lenora Butler Rolla, as the organizer and founder of the Tarrant County Black Historical and Genealogical Society, established the direction for both the Society and its members during her lifetime. She played a pivotal role in retrieving and safeguarding a significant portion of Tarrant County’s African-American historical items, and entrusting them to the diligent protection of the Society in her passing.

The museum is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3  p.m.

Admission is free of charge – but donations are welcome.
