This Black-owned treasure is a story of excellent cuisine and resilience. Their eatery was opened during the pandemic as a diminutive lunch cafe on Pennsylvania Ave., and it was so successful they are opening a second location on Magnolia Avenue in February of 2024. Between offering next-level sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads to their newly available breakfast fare, Carpenter’s Cafe will ensure you’re ready to tackle the day ahead with a full and happy stomach.
